Graffiti is one of the most controversial and frowned upon forms of art. Some artists within the art world don't even consider it art. People relate graffiti to ghetto hood behavior, but Graffiti serves a higher purpose than that. The Estria Foundation uses graffiti and art to educate the youth about creativity and community. This past weekend in Oakland The Estria Foundation held their Fifth Annual Graffiti Invitational Battle, which invited numerous graffiti artists from around the country to help promote the positivity of Graffiti.

When it comes to graffiti I would try to stay away from black and white images. It just doesn't do the those beautiful colors any justice. As for establishing Lastly, the image you chose does not really work as an establishing shot. Remember, an establishing shot is a wide-angle image that sets the stage for the story, gives us a sense of place.
